2024 Parade Information
PARADE REHEARSAL INFORMATION:
Parade Rehearsal is this upcoming Thursday, 11/21 from 5:30-6:30pm. If your dancer has class at this time, you will send them to class like always. We will gather everyone who is participating in parade and ensure they get where they need to be. All dancers who are not participating in parade will have class as scheduled.
We have started passing out parade hoodies and will continue to do so through next week. Your dancer's position in the lineup is written on an index card attached to your parade hoodie. PLEASE BRING THAT INDEX CARD TO PARADE REHEARSAL ON THURSDAY! If you have not paid for your parade hoodie, please do so at your earliest convenience so that it can be given to your dancer.
On Thursday we will meet in Studios 1 and 5 before lining up and marching once around the building. PLEASE NOTE: Dancers who are in lines "I" and "P" will meet in STUDIO 1, and dancers in lines "A" and "C" will meet in STUDIO 5! Please be sure to drop off your dancer in the correct location to avoid any confusion. From there, dancers will be escorted to the parking lot BEHIND studio 5 to line up and march around the building. We ask that parents drop off their dancer and then park by Studio 5 if they would like to remain close by and watch. Parents will not be permitted in the building while we line up the dancers.
Dancers DO NOT need to wear their parade hoodies for rehearsal. Rehearsal will be held outside so be sure to dress for the weather. While we have allotted one hour for rehearsal, oftentimes we finish early so parents are encouraged to stay close by throughout the duration of the rehearsal. Once we are done dancers are free to go!
